THE ROMAN EMPIRE (5ºC 15/10/18)

It was founded by Romulus and Remus. They were raised by a wolf (a leyend).
At first Rome had a monarchy but later it became a republic. About 100 a.c. began the Roman Empire. All the power were in the hands of the Emperor (king of kings).

They conquered all the nations around the Mediterranean sea.


Roman society was divided into: Patricians, Plebeians and slaves.

They were great engieneers and architects. They built aqueducts, bridges, circuses, schools, roads and theatres.


The Roman Empire ended in the 5th Century when Germany invaded Rome.
